Oakfield Wood Wrabness Natural Burial Ground welcomes all dogs visiting the burial ground with their families but we respectfully ask owners to keep their dogs on leads and off the burial plots please?

Please respect all those resting at Oakfield.

This request comes after receiving a a complaint from a visitor who reported someone tying their dog to someone else's tree and their plot getting trampled by the dog. This is not acceptable and so we must stress that all dogs must be kept on leads in all our grounds, cleaned up after, and not allowed on anyone else's burial plot.

Thank you for your understanding and co-operation.

Report a Tree

Sometimes, one of the Trees of Oakfield Wood Wrabness requires attention by one of our experienced team members. With over 3000 trees to look after, it is very helpful if a member of the public can let us know about something they have spotted. So please, drop us a message to let us know of any issues with the trees.

Our woodland burial grounds are protected by the Essex Wildlife Trust and so offer permanent resting places that will forever remain completely undisturbed. Full or Ashes Interments include the planting of a Tree and a Plaque of Remembrance.
